Terms of Use

Last updated October 4, 2026

Meleta lets you build a playlist of Bible verses and listen to it on repeat. These terms are the ground rules for using it. By using Meleta you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Who can use Meleta

You need to be at least 13 to use Meleta. If you're under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is fine with you using it.

Your account

You don't need an account to build or play a playlist. To save playlists, you can sign in with Google. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google account secure. Our Privacy Policy explains what we store when you sign in.

Playlists you share

The playlists you make, including their titles, belong to you. When you share or save one, you let us store it and show it to anyone who opens its link, because that's what makes sharing work. Shared links are public to anyone who has them.

Don't put anything in a playlist title that's unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove playlists that do.

Using Meleta fairly

Please don't:

  • scrape, bulk-download, or resell Meleta's audio or content
  • get around rate limits, or try to break, overload, or probe the service
  • use automated tools to access Meleta in ways a normal listener wouldn't
  • use Meleta to break the law or to harm anyone

The Bible text and narration

The scripture on Meleta comes from public-domain translations: the King James Version, the World English Bible, and the Berean Standard Bible. The narration is generated by an AI voice. It may sometimes mispronounce a word or misread a reference, so check the written text if something sounds off.

Meleta's name, design, and narrated audio are ours. You're welcome to listen, and to share links to Meleta, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Not a substitute for care

Meleta offers scripture for encouragement. It isn't medical, mental health, or professional advice. If you're struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a professional. If you're in danger, contact your local emergency services.

Changes and availability

Meleta is free, and it's still growing. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may pause or end the service. We can also suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms. You can stop using Meleta at any time, and you can ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranties

Meleta is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that your saved playlists will never be lost.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses from your use of Meleta, or for any losses at all beyond what you paid us to use it, which is nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app or by email if we have it. If you keep using Meleta after a change, you accept the updated terms.
